I taught a skills class for several years and was always amazed at how knitters came in knowing only how to knit and purl then halfway through the course they were knitting complicated sweaters. However, it was a really long course that took 14 sessions to complete. I thought there really had to be a better way to do this, so I decided to write my own. I had a fabulous group of ladies agree to beta test the class, and it’s finally ready to roll.
In this class you learn a variety of skills such as two different cast ons, several different increases and decreases and why you would use one instead of another, different types of cables, reading a chart (The entire course contains written directions as well as charts.), lace, kitchener stitch, and blocking. You also learn why a lifeline is important and how to use it. The best part is that there are only 8 classes, and you have a beautiful scarf you can use or give as a gift.
